Fish Egg Pakora From Imperial Inn

Fish Egg Pakora or Macher Dimer Bada is one of the most popular dish prepared in the eastern part of India especially West Bengal. Fish Egg Pakora is a Bengali side dish recipe especially cooked in rainy season when fish lay their eggs. This recipe can best be served with evening tea or as a starter with lunch.

Fish Egg Pakora (Non-Veg) From Imperial Inn
Ingredient:
  • 150 gm Fish egg
  • 1 tbsp garlic-ginger paste
  • ½ tbsp. red chilli powder
  • 2 tbsp besan
  • ½ tbsp. turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp cumin seed
  • Refined oil to fry

Preparation:
  • Wash and drain the fish egg.
  • Take the fish egg in a bowl add garlic-ginger paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, besan, cumin seeds and salt and mix well.
  • Heat oil in a karahi and the by hand pour small portion of the batter in oil. Fry on low heat till the pakora turn light brown.
  • Serve hot with chutney or sauce.
