Sabudana Aloo Tikki is a delicious, simple and easy to make for a nice breakfast or evening snack with tomato ketchup or green chutney. You can also be made for Navratri fast or any other fasting days.

Ingredients:
  • 5 potatoes, boiled
  • 2 tbsp sago(Sabudana)
  • 3 green chillies
  • 1 tbsp ginger, chopped
  • 1 tbsp green coriander, chopped
  • 10 curry leaves
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • ½ tsp red chilli powder
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt to taste.

Preparation:
  • Soak sago (Sabudana) in a cup of water for 1 hour.
  • Drain and keep aside.
  • Peel and grate boiled potatoes.
  • Add the deseeded and chopped green chillies, ginger, coriander, chopped curry leaves, drained sago, salt, chaat masala and red chilli powder.
  • Mix well with a wooden spoon. Divide into 16 portions and shape into round patties, using a little oil on your palms.
  • Deep fry the patties until they are crisp and golden brown.
  • Serve with tomato ketchup.
