Aloo Paneer Kofta can made for fasting or during Navratri fasting. It is an excellent standalone snack when served with  green or sweet chutney. When it soaked in tomato gravy can be served as a main curry with Indian breads like Butter naan, Paratha, Roti or steamed rice for lunch or dinner.

Ingredients
  • 200 gm paneer grated
  • 3 medium size aloo (boiled & peeled and then grated)
  • 11 tbsp almond flour or 1 tbsp milk powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper powder or crushed black pepper
  • ½ tsp red chilli powder
  • ½ tsp garam masala powder
  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  • 2 tbsp corn flour
  • 2-3 tbsp mixed chopped dry fruits
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Salt chaat masala

Preparation
  • Mix all the ingredients in a bowl, except the dry fruits.
  • Take a medium sized ball from the mixture and flatten it slightly.
  • Place the dry fruits in the center.
  • Bring the edges toward the center and cover the dry fruits completely.
  • Seal the kofta well, so that they do not break frying. Make all the kofta this way.
  • Heat oil for shallow frying or deep frying in a pan.
  • Add the stuffed koftas and fry till golden brown from all over.
  • Drain the kofta on tissues papper.
  • Serve paneer aloo kofta hot with green or sweet chutney and sprinkled with some chaat masala.
